1 lb of shaved steak

1 small onion diced or thinly sliced

12 oz of baby bell mushrooms. sliced

1 bell pepper (any color) diced of sliced

2 cups of shredded cheese( I used a mixture of American and cheddar)

4 eggs scrambled

2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce

1 dash of hot sauce (optional)

1 minced garlic clove

Salt and pepper to taste


Preheat oven to 350.  Brown up shaved steak in a pan. Prep a baking pan for casserole by spray with cooking spray.  Whisk eggs, hot sauce and Worcestershire sauce together and set aside. Drain and add salt, pepper, garlic, peppers, onions and mushrooms.  Cook till soft.  Pour contents into baking dish and cover with cheese (extra doesn’t hurt either, if you like it cheesy). Pour egg mixture over top. Cover with foil and bake for about 30-35 mins or until set.  Uncover and put on broil for 2 mins to brown top.  Let stand for 5 mins and then slice up.  I like to serve this up with a side salad.  Keep it gluten Free by checking to ensure your Worcestershire sauce does not contain wheat.
