Calling on all PENNICHUCK PUC INTERVENORS
In prep of the call next week, I’d like to hold a conference call this week to review and discuss our case, we should have an dynamic participation of everyone to be heard. –>I believe with every case we SHOULD elect an speaker so our pre-trial is not a shouting match and we have a successful engagement with Pennichuck legal counsel and the Office of Consumer Advocate, et al. Please send me a message with your email so I can send an calendar invite to champion our agenda, open talking points and any relevant information that is new to consider. Ive spoke to a Pennichuck Legal liaison this am, They were shuttered to see the 150+ comments by townspeople, they are taking the case seriously and have inside and outside legal counsel prepared to also champion their interests.
From Rich Lascelles
Pennichuck Rate Increase News-I want to congratulate Litchfield for the number of you who have contacted the PUC to voice your displeasure with the Pennichuck rate request. The more of you who send in comments the better. We have several intervenors and dozens of you who have sent in emails. Good for you! The Selectmen voted in a recent meeting to join with Londonderry, Pelham, and Hooksett in retaining the law firm of Sheehan Phinney to do the town’s bidding. We have also had talks with the firm that helped us with the St. Gobain issue to also help us with this rate case on “Litchfield-specific” issues (such as Pennichuck charging us for the pipes St. Gobain already paid for). There will be a warrant article discussed at the deliberative session on Feb. 6 and voted on at the election in March to pay for this. Next week on Wednesday, January 27 at 10:00 AM there will be a remote “Pre-hearing hearing” on the case.
