We have discovered after the school day ended today that we have one new member of the CHS community who has been determined positive for COVID-19. That person has not been in school the last two days and is only at CHS briefly during the school day. We have contact traced to ensure we can eliminate concerns about community spread within CHS. At this point, we have a very small group of the CHS community who have been in close contact with this community member. All who are known at this point to have had close contact have been notified and are quarantining While we are seeing some of the upswing in numbers impacting the school, all of your efforts to encourage mask use, maintain physical distancing and use appropriate hygiene practices is really important to continue to keep our numbers down. We appreciate your work with your children to enable us to keep CHS healthy and open for in-person classes.

It is really important that you make sure you keep your students home if they are showing signs of COVID 19 and then notify the school nurse, Donna Boucher. She will then advise on how to move forward with your child. Unfortunately many of the symptoms of COVID are very similar to the cold, flu, allergies, and other common ailments.
