One year ago, on a fateful Thursday, we in the New Hampshire legislature met until 3:55 AM in order to get business that had to get done completed. There was a virus on the way and we didn’t know how long it would take us to get back into regular session. Little did we know how much it would effect us. We have not met in the grand old hall since. We have met on a hockey rink, an outdoor lacrosse field, in our vehicles drive-in in style, and now in an indoor soccer/football facility. Representative democracy New Hampshire style marches on! The next day (actually two hours later) I was scheduled to teach at my beloved Campbell High. A heavy dose of discretion took over and I decided that was too much for this old feller, I called in sick!
