The Zoning Board is responsible for making decisions when a developer/citizen is looking to seek relief from a certain aspect of the zoning ordinance. We are talking about variances, waivers, and special exceptions. For example, if someone wanted to build a BBQ Joint in a residential zone, they would go to the Zoning Board to ask for a variance.
The Zoning Board meets one time a month (2nd Wednesday @ 7pm) and reviews plans and hears testimony from citizens and developers. They are desperately looking for full-time and alternate members. If you’re interested, please email Town Administrator, Troy Brown email@example.com
