Baby Animals

As we take our 7th baby animal call in the first hour of the day, just a reminder that:

1. It’s completely normal to see lots of wildlife during the day even those you’ve heard are only nocturnal

2. The best thing to do is almost always to let them be

3. Many animals have young this time of year so you might see them more frequently

Protect Wild Rabbits by Handling Pet Rabbits Appropriately:

Rabbit hemorrhagic disease virus (RHDV2) was first detected in the 1980s and made its way to the United States in 2018. RHDV2 can affect both wild and domestic rabbits. Improper care and handling of pets can result in further spread of this disease. New Hampshire Fish and Game is asking the public to take precautions against transmitting this virus further and potentially bringing it to the state.
